There is no getting around the fact that you need the right tool for the job, whatever the job is. The more difficult or complex the task or problem, the more developed the tool should be. But what happens when the idea is beyond the known tools. That’s right, we step into the unknown, and we develop the missing parts.
That is what we need to do internally sometimes. Really seek an answer to seeing our shortcomings, to repair them. Not to develop appropriate excuses, or beat our self up with failure guilt. Fix them, train them, develop them like you would a muscle.
So I have chosen. I lack discipline.
I know! Shocker.
There are many things that would no doubt make the list, but I know better that to overwhelm myself. I choose to start with discipline because I believe if I gain discipline, I will be more committed, and have stamina to tackle a few more fixer-upper areas of my life.
Wish me well, as I wish you well.
